A little R & R...

I hope you had a wonderful Easter.
We enjoyed our annual Easter breakfast at home before making the mad dash to church.
After mass, we then headed to my parent's and took a slight detour.
This 50's diner is no longer in business, but it made for an interesting photo backdrop.
We are officially on spring break and we're all looking forward to going back and forth between the A-frame and home.

With only a 40 minute commute to the lake, we've already had a quick overnight last Friday.
The ice is off the lake and the full moon over the water was gorgeous.
We will be heading back shortly to install new bunk beds for future guests.
I might be a bit quiet this week in blogland.  Don't have too much fun without me!

Looks like you had a nice Easter, Kim. What a shame that old diner closed. There are still a couple of them around in WI. Two that I know of for sure.
Love the lake pictures-I know you are excited to get back there.
Have a wonderful (busy) week. xo Diana

Wouldn't my 57 Chevy look cute parked in front of the diner on my way to the A Frame!?!?! When I drive Route 66 I'm glad you'll have my bed ready!

Ohhhh, the old diner is awesome. Hopefully someone will come along and restore it. I'm on Easter Break, too. It's chilly at home! I almost miss my desert workplace! Have a great week!

Kim,
Love all of the photos of your Easter....and those ones at that diner...too cool! I have to tell you I tried so hard not to get the Bunny family at "At Home"...but I had a hard day and was feeling sorry for myself and went in and they had 1 full family left....just for me! They are safely stored in the garage until next Easter!
