Give-away Winners & Chocolate Covered Fortune Cookies

Jodee L (Follow the Leaders) and Eileen are the fabulous winners of my ruffled Valentine's.

Send me an email with your postal addresses and I'll get them into the mail as soon as I can.

After I came home from work this evening, the girls and I made chocolate covered fortune cookies for a special school treat for Josie's daycare. These treats would be so much fun for Chinese New Year or Valentine's Day.

General Instructions:

When melting the chocolate, melt 1 c. chocolate chips (or white chocolate chips) with 1-2 tsp. SHORTENING or vegetable oil. You can melt in the microwave or on the stove top, but be sure to stir constantly.

Coat your fortune cookie by dipping the center into the chocolate.

Transfer the chocolate covered fortune cookies onto waxed paper and generously apply sprinkles.

We put our fortune cookies in the freezer to speed up the drying time. YUMMY!!!
