Valentine Give-away!

Everyone needs at least one fun valentine decoration to celebrate the upcoming holiday. Decorating for Chinese New Year and Valentine's Day (even if it's only a tiny corner of my house), helps motivate me to be creative even when the rest of my house is COMPLETELY TAKEN OVER by construction.

I picked up two of these Valentine cones at Home Goods. Isn't it sweet?

Just leave a comment by 9am on Saturday February 6th and I'll have Emma randomly pick a winner. I'll even fill it with a few heart candy treats and a home-made Kim K. Valentine.

Good luck! And be sure to see this post for CNY Tiger projects.

  1. So cute!! If I won it, it would be the only Valentine decoration in my house. I can't find any of my CNY or Valentine's day decor since our move!! DRAT!
I know you must be frazzled with all of the construction mess. It will be SO worth it when everything is finished!

  2. I have to give you credit to have work done on the house, 2 kids and working. I am sure when it's all said and done it is going to look great

  3. How adorable! In the next few weeks we have one gotcha' day, valentine's day, CNY, and two birthday celebrations! and homeschooling about Presidents day. I'm at lost as to what to decorate for - and what will be too confusing and over stimulating for Jorja. :)
But that cone and contents is too cute!

  4. Glad you're getting your new craft room. I'm sure it'll be a favorite spot in the house -- once the chaos has subsided. I think I'm too old to ever endure living in constuction again.

    Sign me up!!

  9. Hi,

I just came into your blog through Kay Bratt's recommendation. Thanks for the great idea's! I couldn't help noticing the GVSU Asian New Year event. My son will be graduating this spring from GVSU! He loves it there!

I'd love to be included in your giveaway!

  10. I just came across your blog and am adding it to favorites. My daughter (from Guangdong province) is just getting old enough to do more crafts and I'm looking for ideas. Love the sidebar links to each holiday, too.
