A few more last minute Halloween ideas...

Anyone remember cheesy weenies? Wrap crescent rolls and a slice a cheese around a hotdog and bake in the oven according to package directions? I remember my mother making these as a quick meal before we'd head out trick or treating. Love ya, Mom!

Here's a fun Halloween spin on that idea.

Cut crescent roll dough into thin strips and wrap around hot dogs to resemble a mummy.

We cut our dogs in half for bite-sized pieces and put dots of mustard for the eyes.

I've also seen this idea all over blogsphere. Attach pecans to string cheese with cream cheese to resemble fingers.

Be sure to use a knife to etch knuckles into the string cheese.

So creepy! I'm loving it!

It just so happens that one of my favorite mission thrift stores is next to a local chain grocery store. The minute I swear we don’t need any more Halloween decorations, what do I immediately find at the thrift store? A glass dome with a base for $2!

I guess if I had stayed clear of the store, I wouldn't have been tempted, right? And, of course once I spotted it, I couldn't just leave it there!! Heavens no! I came home and filled it with shredded sheet music and some plastic spiders.

I'm sure I can find all sorts of things to display in it all year long...right?

Happy soon-to-be Halloween!
