2011 Heart to Heart Exchange

I participated in my first craft exchange. Sarah from makin projiks hosted a heart to heart Valentine exchange and I contributed 14 embellished valentine candy boxes.

Instructions on how to make these fancy candy boxes can be found here on my blog.

Here are a few close up shots of the goodies that arrived at my house.

They are taking up residence in my craft room on my miniature white tree and they are just delightful.

The talents from all these amazing people are so inspiring.
Thank you for hosting, Sarah.
I can't wait to do another craft exchange in the future.

PS. Next up, kid-friendly Valentine projects!

  8. So sad...it looks like the one I made started coming apart....Sorry....I used really expensive permanant glue tape from Michaels....looks like it didn't do the trick....maybe from the cold? E-6000 it is for next time.
    Happy Valentine's Day!

  9. I LOVED my candy box - it was adorable! I love old timey candy boxes, so your box fits right in with my collection. Not to mention the candy - delish!

Glad you liked the shadowbox - it was different for me, but I liked it too.
