The thrifting stars were aligned...

...I picked up these goodies and just had to share them.

More half aprons! I definitely have a collection now!!

I just love the sweet graphics on these cards...especially the little girls. I'll scan these images later to share with all of you. One can never have enough rick rack and lace...especially with spring/Easter craft projects on the horizon!

I have a glass cookie jar in my kitchen that I keep filled with tin cookie cutters. I also like to hang up my tin cookie cutters at Christmas as kitchen garland. I just couldn't resist when I saw the scottie dog and chick. While I'm on a roll with felt pretend food with Josie, I think those plastic cherries will end up in a felt pie. Stay tuned.

I'm obsessed with ribbon...especially at .25 cents a spool!

Although I don't sew, this sweet little sewing basket was just begging to come home with me for a make-over.

My favorite purchase was this 1950 craft book.
It's filled with all kinds of fun crafting projects.

For less than $20, I scored all kinds of sweet deals.
My two thrifting sources definitely took good care of me.
Wishing you all a sweet weekend!

  6. Great stash! You really are on a roll scoring those cookie cutters, trim and ricrac.

That vintage craft book looks like a particularly interesting find, I have also been on a vintage craft book hunt. Can't wait to see what you make from it.

  8. Ack! You scored so big. Those cards are super cute! I have been lucky enough to find one old craft book and just love the graphics as much as the crafts. I cannot wit to see what you and the girls come up with. I am hoping to get out of the house next week and do some thrifting. It's hard to go back to retail after you score such bargains....Renee

  9. Great finds!
The cherries are they a heavier plastic? I think the stems are to new but boy the color is right for bakelite cherries. If they are bakelite those are some seriously sweet cherries!:)
