Christmas decorating at the Aframe

Right before Thanksgiving, I stopped at Trader Joe’s and found this gingerbread Aframe kit.
I just knew it was meant to come to the lake with us.

I know I’ve said this before, but I love our Aframe even more in the off-season.

It's cozy.

It’s quiet.
And it’s really fun to decorate at Christmas.
I also love being able to spread out my Christmas collections between two places.

I know these next few weeks are going to zoom by and December 25th will be here before we know it.  I have a few Christmas projects to share. Josie and I have been busy in my craft room.

We even managed to find a $5 dollhouse that we turned into a Christmas house.

I'll be back!  Pinky swear!

  2. I sure do love your A-Frame. As we are thinking about selling and downsizing I keep thinking about an A-Frame. I think it would make a great retirement home. Yours, as always, is just adorable. xo Diana

  4. We lived on the lake when I was a kid - summer was busy with traffic and carloads of people and noise. But, in the winter, it was quiet and beautiful and such a happy cozy place to be! I love your A-frame life - it looks relaxing and fun!

  14. Oh my goodness, Kim! It's been so long since I visited! I've got to take some time and look back through the last couple months! Life is so busy here, I've pretty much dropped off the blog-o-sphere, as you know! Love the little $5 dollhouse- my money would've been out so quickly for that one!! I need to take photos of my new studio, where most of the dollhouse reside now. I'm almost done decorating from Christmas, and my new house is a perfect Christmas house- I hope to take pics this week and post them! So nice to check in with you! Hugs!
