It's starting!!!

Today we officially started unpacking the Halloween decorations in preparation for the upcoming party. I wasn't exaggerating when I said we have tubs and tubs of decorations. These are a few pictures of the basement and the garage. There are even more tubs up the attic.

Not knowing how Josie was going to react to all the Halloween chaos, I decided to start with something tame. I gave her two plastic pumpkin candy buckets to carry around. She thinks they are great containers for little Fisher Price people.

After breakfast, we then headed to our favorite pumpkin farm to fill up the mini van with pumpkins, cornstalks and gourds. It was Josie's first time and she couldn't have been happier.

Unpacking and setting up the Halloween displays literally take weeks. I'll be documenting our progress in our blog, but I've promised my husband to keep a few surprises for our party guests. Have a great weekend, everyone!

  4. Wow Kim. When you said tubs and tubs, you really meant it! I showed Scott your pictures and post. He has now decided that my decor is quite tame compared to yours. I can't wait to follow along and watch your house transform into a Halloween wonderland!
Josie seems to be taking it all in stride so far. I love the video of her. The pictures of the girls at the farm are beautiful. Emma looks so chic in her fur vest! I wish Georgia temps would drop so we could wear fun fall clothes. It was mid 80's today.
    Have a great evening!

  6. OMG! I can't believe all the tubs of Halloween stuff. As you may have notice that we have not posted lately because our camera is broke, we sent it in for repairs and have not started to really research for a new one.
