I've been up until midnight the last two nights organizing my craft room. Before I show the latest pictures, I have to give all kinds of praise to my husband who has patiently helped me hang things on my walls. He's so good about making sure everything is level and secured to a stud. You're the best, Chris!! Thanks for making my craft room my DREAM room!!
I still have a few boxes to unpack and I need to go through the girl's bins of craft supplies and get them organized and labeled for their craft closet, but it's nearly done.
In other construction updates, the drywall in Emma's room is nearly complete. We're waiting on new windows and the built-in bookcases, desk and window seat.
The new mudroom now has drywall and the built-in seating and closet for cleaning supplies/vacuum is starting to take shape. The half-bath is coming together too. I need to take updated pictures of that area soon.
Our entire house is coated in drywall dust. Emma even took pictures of the dust last night. I'm going to avoid posting those on the blog. Maybe I'll get brave later and show you our dusty chaos. Have a great Thursday!
Love the new craft room. I know you will spend many happy hours thre. Looking at your room has inspired me to work on mine today. Thanks for the motivation!
ReplyDeleteOkay, I am officially jealous of your craft room. Wow! It certainly is beautiful. I wished that my Chris had more time to help me with our construction project. It has really been up to me to make decisions and meet with our contractor each day. (His new job really keeps him hopping!) I am glad that Emma is not at my house; she really would find lots of dust to photograph! Enjoy finishing the organization of that lovely craft haven. . .
