It's creeping up!!

Look up! Did you notice the new blog header? I was going to wait to change my blog on the 1st of October, but I just couldn't stop myself. This weekend, I'm going to start hauling out the orange Halloween crates. I think my sunroom tree is getting the first make-over.

Remember these orange containers that I found at the Dollar Tree?

I'm just getting warmed up, but look at the potential!

The boo and skull graphics are free downloads from Paper Glitter which I embellished with black crepe paper ruffles. I then hot glued some rick rack around the edge and added a bow on the handle. I always enjoy her free printable downloads but if you haven't browsed her kits, you really should.

She even offers tips on her website. These straw accents are just done with punching two holes in circle tags. Easy peasy!

Adding googly eyes ...VERY FUN!

The complete Halloween party kit includes everything you see below. I've used Paper Glitter for Emma's birthday party, as well as Josie's birthday party, and her kits never disappoint.

Happy Crafting!!
Happy Hauntings!!

I'm so ready for the weekend!!

  1. Oh what fun! Is that moon and owl from World Market?!
Went to a fantastic farm/gift barn today. Check out my blog later on. Bought many pumpkins for cheap-$1 and $3 each! It is near Midland but is worth the drive...and I am thinking I need something I had passed on so might go back tomorrow! LOL
    Hurry up weekend!

  6. Hi Kim,
Did you really think that you could wait for anything concerning Halloween? Ha!HA!

You just don't know how much I would love to come to your Halloween bash! Maybe next year at least the kids and I could pack up and come. (You know how much we like to travel and have lots of fun!)

The pics of the Moon Festival are just too precious, especially the one with E and J. We are celebrating tonight, and I can't wait!

Have a great weekend making your house into a grand spook-fest!
    Many hugs,
    Cindy
