Halloween Hostess Gifts

If you haven't figured it out, our family lives for Halloween. Yup. We aren't like normal families. During October, everyday is spent thinking of new things to create for the upcoming Halloween party. Just go with me on this...ok?

Last week I stopped by my local thrift/antique store and my favorite vendor had stacks of old board game flash cards available. With clothes line pins, I put them together to spell out Halloween words.

She also had this fantastic Halloween game book dated from 1913.

I also picked up the black cat candle and plastic black cat. I couldn't resist!!

Speaking of candles, are you looking for an easy hostess gift for Halloween? Or, want a simple way to jazz up white candles for the holidays?

Take some decorative scrapbooking paper and cut it to your desired width, add some white glue to the back of the paper and wrap around your candle. Finish it off with ribbon and a sticker.

I put my candles in a tray of dried black beans.
You could also use coffee beans.

Imagine the possibilities!!
You could even do this for every holiday!

PS. It's important to follow safety precautions and use caution and common sense when burning or melting any candle or wax products.

While we're talking about fun and easy crafts, Paper Glitter has posted free pencil topper and stationary templates for Halloween.

This would be a cute idea for party favors or classroom Halloween parties.
Happy Crafting!!
