Another Target Transformation

I think I'm going to start a series about the Target dollar bins...Target Transformations. Who doesn't love Target's $1 and $2.50 dollar bins?

A few weeks ago, I picked up this Target $2.50 wreath and turned it from this...

into this.

Let's do the same thing with this $2.50 Easter mini tree.

Using this bag of pink silk flowers and white floral tape (found at my favorite mission thrift store for .50 cents) I gave our Target tree a mini makeover.

I also took the tree out of its ugly plastic container and put it inside a favorite teapot.
Don't ask me how many teapots I own. Perhaps that's a blog post for another day!!

Now, that's much better...

Happy Easter!
Happy Crafting!

PS. My husband's principal recently went to China and brought back goodies for the girls.
Thank you, Linda!

XOXO

There's still time to enter for my 4/15 Easter give-away.

Random drawing to be held Friday at 7pm EST.

  6. I LOVE the Target bins. Or at least I used to. They moved my Target down the road about 10 miles so now I don't stop there nearly as much as I used to. Cute idea with the tree and it looks so much better in your teapot!

  11. I just love how you put the tree in the teapot. I'm not nearly as clever as you...I saw the tree and wreath at Target the other day and just walked on by. Perhaps I should go back?! So, you must simply have more Target makeovers for those of us who need your inspiration!
