We spent all day Thursday of our spring break outside cutting back grasses, raking flower beds and tidying the yard. I haven't spent that many hours outside since August (
Chris claims that I've never spent that much time outside at this house...shhhh...he might be right). Honestly, if you saw how many flower/grass beds we have, you'd understand why we were outside for 7+ hours).
Welcome Spring.
Can you tell I love using the macro setting on my camera?Happy Friday.

The macro setting is perfect for spotlighting Spring's promise. Have a wonderful weekend!
ReplyDeleteSo glad spring is finally here. It looks like you have been enjoying your spring break. Happy Friday!
ReplyDeleteFun family day - even if it is work! I love staycations! Love that first sign of spring! Jorja and Jailyn are loving seeing all the buds and explaining the blooming process to whoever will listen! :) Happy Friday girly!
ReplyDeleteSpring is the time we want to get moving again, isn't it? Enjoy the pretty weather (if you're having it) - Spring also means the weather changes
ReplyDeleteOh...We have to continue our yard work this weekend. I hope to put my window boxes out, too. I do enjoy being outside planting, but I don't enjoy all the clean up you have to do before!
ReplyDeleteWhat great crafting ideas...love the paint sample garland...might have to try that one.
Have a great Friday...
Cindy
I really need to get out to my yard too!! We have had a lot of rain, so the weeds have really sprouted. Hope you all are having fun!!
ReplyDeleteThat yard clean up is a year round thing here, but it sure feels good when you're done. And it doesn't look like the girls minded much.
ReplyDeleteLOVE the macro photos.
I'm not brave enough to peek at what is waiting for me out there. Is grass in the flower beds bad? ;)
ReplyDeleteBlessings, Debbie
That tree filled with eggs is adorable :-)
ReplyDeleteSo glad that spring is around the corner.
ReplyDeleteChris can come over anytime and clean our flower beds:))
Yes, that is the grass that I despise. It scratches and flies all over the yard! My husband loves this stuff and I am the one who ends up cleaning it. Sidewalk chalk is just ageless. We draw basketball courts, pictures, bases for ball and more. Thanks for the smiles...Renee
ReplyDeleteLooks like the whole family had a good time working outside. It seems like spring has finally come to you.(-:
