Can you stand one last Easter post?

I think I've been celebrating Easter for nearly six weeks on my blog. Can you stand one final post on Easter? I didn't realize how many food pictures I took until I started editing pictures. There's no shortage of calories on Easter with my family! Yes. Those are chocolate covered peeps with LOTS of sprinkles. Thanks for the tip, Vivian.

Emma gave up macaroni-n-cheese for Lent.
Her smile says it all.

And their off!!

My mother made a very special bunny for Josie.

If you are a fan of Jenny B Harris (allsorts), it's a creation that she featured on her blog. Her clothes are reversible. I just love all the trims and special buttons. You can find her tutorial here.

And while Josie is enjoying her new fuzzy bunny, Emma got a whole magazine devoted to Justin Bieber. Thanks, Aunt Michelle!

Easter blessings from our family to your own.
Excuse the" extra bright" cell phone picture
of the girls taken at church.

PS. Major treehouse construction will be happening this week and with Mother's day on May 8th, I've got a list of projects I want to work on in my craft room. Never a dull moment!

XOXO

  1. I am so glad it was such a nice day for the girls to hunt and enjoy Easter. There is never enough sugar and chocolate. It was our first quiet Easter away from family. We accomplished a lot and had a game of family baseball. Still chilly, but the rain stayed away. That rabbit is darling. Your mom did a great job. Love Jenny B. Smiles...Renee

  2. Aww I miss when mine were young, this the first year I didn't buy them candy. I did get each of my grown sons new Bibles and I think they were very pleased. I did get one piece of chocolate, a little girl at church walked up and took it out of basket and handed it to me. I thought that was sweet. Happy Easter!!!!

  4. Your girls are so cute. I love the pic of all the kids sitting with their baskets. I had to cancel my egg hunt as its just been soooo rainy my back yard is like a sponge! (and still calling for rain for the whole week!! yUKKO!!) I actully think that though my (adult) children protested about having to look for eggs outside that they were actually disappointed when it didnt happen! I should have done it anyways as they all ended up way out back with a bonfire. We had a nice day and I was exhausted last night!! Now I need a vacation.. wish I didnt have to work!!
    have a great day Kim!
