Treehouse paint ~ ~ REVEAL!!!

We crammed sooooo much into the long Memorial weekend, that I wasn't sure which project to blog about first. To be fair to Chris and all his late nights spent with a paintbrush and power sprayer, I decided it was only fair to show off the interior paint in the treehouse.

Don't worry, he did start wearing a breathing mask soon after I shot this picture.

These shots were taken at 7:30am with the morning light streaming though the windows

The toe and door molding isn't up yet, but we're "almost" ready to start moving in furniture and accessories.

The floor paint turned out far better than I expected. It's gorgeous. The pale blue turquoise/aqua is a stunning contrast to the white walls.

I wasn't sure how it was going to come together and it has exceeded my expectations in every way.

I know you're growing tired of this project and all your new plants/landscaping projects are calling out to you.

    Oh my the new header...so cute. I found two stools today..but they didn't measure up. That is the best color of turquoise I have seen in a while. Love how clean the lines are and the contrast...what a great husband to work so hard...He is going to need a super Father's Day gift. Smiles...Renee

    That play house is adorable...I always dreamed of one when I was a little girl. We always made tree houses using old sheets, plywood, refrigerator boxes, etc. Love it!

    Happy Belated 19th Wedding anniversary to you and Chris....Love that wedding picture that you shared of you and hubby in the other post...that's gorgeous of the two of you! Champagne and cheescake sounds like a perfect way to celebrate too!

    The treehouse has turned out so precious....that is a great job you all did....love the turquoise floors with the cottage beadboard walls...can hardly wait to see your stuff inside there...I know it's gonna be so charming and cute :)
    It's been so fun catching up with you sweetie...hope you have a great rest of the week...happy planting to Chris...hope he gets some time to get those hands dirty...your yard and plants are so pretty, I know it's a lot of work that goes into it too...y'all should be very proud of your efforts...everything just looks great.     Absolutely amazing, what an undertaking. Your husband is great with that paintsprayer. We tried one of those before once and still use only a brush or roller! The aqua floor is gorgeous. Can't wait to see a further reveal.
