My latest vintage acquisitions are a mix of items....
The graphics on the sewing cards are so delightful and have already taken up residence in my craft room.
The cracker jack tin will be a perfect container for holding miniature Amercian flags.
Last but not least, my obsession with owls continues. This straw purse is going on my upcoming cottage vacation with me. At $3, I couldn't simply couldn't resist!!

Enjoy the rest of the day!

ReplyDeleteOh, I love the sewing cards. I had forgotten about those. I remember using them when I was little. Can't say it helped with my sewing skills though.
ReplyDeleteYou find the coolest stuff!! You have inspired me to look at the local antique shops here but their prices are so high. :( I will just have to enjoy yours vicariously.
ReplyDeleteIt's been about, oh, a thousand years since I've seen sewing cards!
ReplyDeleteDAWN TO DUSK
Yellow’s the color I wear at dawn
When dancing dewdrops spangle the lawn.
Red is the color I wear at dusk
When earth and sky are dry as a husk
And nothing stirs—not even a wing
Of bat or swallow or anything!
