Big plans...I tell ya!!

Anyone else exhausted and ready for the weekend?
That 5:50am school alarm clock is just wicked early...especially with my night owl tendencies. Between juggling work obligations and adjusting to the girl's new school routines, I'm soooo ready for the weekend.

Do you have any fun plans?

Josie starts dance & gym classes on Saturday. I have to brag about the super girl leotard that I scored on clearance on JCPennys. As you can imagine, she loves it!!

You'd never know my favorite "little" super-hero has a heart condition with her unstoppable energy levels. I can't wait to see how she enjoys this new activity. Emma was Josie's age when she started her first dance class. Hard to believe this little outfit once fit Emma.

We'll also be enjoying a belated Moon Festival and lighting our sky lanterns on Saturday.

And then attending a UofM themed birthday party for our nephew on Sunday!

GO BLUE!

I'm especially eager to finish up some Halloween crafts so that I can put together a give-away in the very near future. Yes. My peat pot creations will be getting a Halloween make-over.

I hope you have some time this weekend to do something fun and enjoyable.

Happy crafting!
Happy thrifting!

XOXO

  1. I cannot believe you found a super hero leotard. You are mom of the year. Miss Emma looks so grown up with that tiny outfit in front...That candy cup is darling. I need toothpicks to keep my eyes open I am so tired. One more day! Smiles...Renee

  10. Hello, I am a new follower. I first found the Old Glory Cottage and that led me to Creative Breathing and she has led me to a bunch of wonderful and talented ladies. My name is Lynn. I live in North Carolina. I love anything old. I love to scrapbook, stamping, altered art, and really anything that I can do. I can not paint nor do I sew. But, I am hoping to learn this winter. Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful creative ideals and your stories with me.
    Hugs,
    Lynn
