Have you seen this idea yet?

My favorite antique vendor had a lace doily in a embroidery hoop for a spider web. I came home and scoured my supplies.

I decided my spiders needed a dusting of white glue and Martha glitter for a little bit of glam.

A vintage glittered tag was the final touch.

My spider web is taking up residence over my kitchen window and I decided to give the area a Halloween make-over.

After

Vivian, your garland looks fabulous in my window.

Happy Halloween!

  13. The lace doily as a spider web is a fantastic idea! I just don't know if I can do it here... I am not a spider fan. (We have more than enough of real ones here. Ugh. If you want to hear me shriek, just put me in the same room as a little jumping spider.) So I tend to stick with pumpkins and black cats for Halloween.
