Look up! It’s a bird, it’s a plane – it’s more Halloween decorations!

It's a good thing we have cathedral ceilings, because we've had to start hanging Halloween decorations from the ceiling to find a place for everything! Actually we've been doing this for years. I wasn't kidding when I said we had a lot of decorations!!

In case you're curious, that's batting suspended from fishing lines for the clouds. A black light is on top of the corner unit to give it a night-time effect.

You'd be amazed at how many hooks and fishing line we have in our ceiling.

This sunroom corner is where the face painter will be set up. She's the most popular activity at our family-friendly party.

The spiders were new additions last year. We got them on clearance at Target. Aren't they creepy cool?

This witch sits above our television corner unit. Her owls are embellished with hats and sit on top of candle sticks that I've picked up from Goodwill. I absolutely love decorating owls for Halloween and will do a separate post on this later.

Have a fabulous weekend.
We'll be busy transforming the interior
of our garage into this.

10/29 isn't that far away!
Happy Halloween!
XOXO

  1. I cannot believe the effect of the clouds. How wonderful. You and your husband are two peas in a pod. Those spiders are incredible. Although I have to ask what was Josie's reaction the first year....smiles...Renee

  15. Just a quick question...where did you get the owl on your blog banner at the top of the page? My daughter is practically crying with greed and saying it would look great on her non-existant shelf from Pottery Barn. =D

  16. OMG, this looks amazing! You really get into Halloween! Those clouds are fantastic, and my boys would LOVE that haunted house you made a few posts down!

Thanks for coming by my blog. That's really neat that you have the same dresser. I've wondered whether that decal was original or added later. The only one I've seen online wasn't painted at all, but the exact same dresser...
