Doesn't the lampshade resemble a witch hat?
During this time of the year, everything has the potential of becoming a Halloween craft project at my house!
The witch hat is sitting on top of the original enclosed lampshade. Rest assured. The wattage on the bulb is very low.
I love my new thrifted lamp.
Happy Halloween!
Have a thrifty/crafty weekend.

ReplyDeleteI was just thinking about adding embellishments to my hat lamps...now wher are those spiders, ants, & snakes....
We pick up our son today-hurray!
I couldn't see it...but now I do! You have such great imagination! Wish you could go with me to my Thrift store! We would get into all kinds of trouble! lol ♥
ReplyDeleteI think that is one of the funnest things ever!!!!
ReplyDeleteToo cute. Someday I'd love for you to do a blog about how you organize all of your many crafts and finds. Not how you store them, exactly, but how you organize things to know where they are when you want them. Or how do you know where to put a potential project until you're ready to use it?

I absolutely did not see that in the lamp. How cute. Almost makes me think you should make seasonal ones. Well done. Loving all your spooks...smiles..Renee

I just adore your new lamp! You continue to amaze me with your creativity!
ReplyDeleteCute lamp! I hit the jackpot last weekend as one of my dear friends in the neighborhood decided to get out of her antique business and scale down her scrap booking stash. She had some great things that I really wanted before, but was waiting for a mark-down. If you are patient and willing to wait, you can be rewarded!
ReplyDeleteI am so looking forward to tomorrow as we are going to a huge antique market nearby in Clinton.
Here's to finding more bargains and treasures...
Your friend in crime,
Cindy
