The dollhouse secret....an update!

I shared back on this post that I was giving my $10 Allegan antique market dollhouse, a makeover for Josie's Christmas.

With the rollercoaster ride that has happened since Thanksgiving, I'm a bit behind. Fortunately, I made some progress over the weekend. All the walls have fresh paper and 3 of the rooms have new flooring.

Living room before
(interesting yellow paper and wood flooring)

Living room after
(light blue paper and burgundy carpeting)

I've decided that only the back walls are getting new wallpaper. Between you and me, I really hate wallpapering. As you can tell, I'm much more interested in the accessories.

Although most of the furniture has already been wrapped,
I promise to share one more room reveal before the big day.

Don't forget.
Tonight at 8pm (EST) is my no-strings
Christmas give-away!
There's still time!

XOXO

  18. Kim,
Love the doll house and I can not wait to see it finished! It is much easier to wall paper as it is being built but I know you did not have that luxury. Where did you get the mini manger set? I have the normal size identical one!
Also, mine is on a turntable so I can see both front and back, If you are going to put it on a table for Josie to play with, consider a turntable. They sell the turntable mechanics at Lowe's and you just add a board....

    Hugs,
    Deb
