A quick outing on Presidents' Day!

I enjoyed a very quick outing to my favorite antique store yesterday while home with the girls for Presidents' Day.

I'm always on the lookout for vintage millinery flowers and was very pleased to find these sweet felt corsages.

I'll be using them in upcoming Easter projects.

A handful of vintage children's books with sweet illustrations. I'm set for Corey's Lil' Vintage Story Books link parties for a few weeks!!

If you've been a regular reader, you know how much I enjoy collecting vintage picture albums. This Easter album will be proudly on display with the rest of my special collection.

Be on the look-out. This rabbit cookie cutter and vintage dress potholder will be included in an upcoming Easter give-away.

This sweet yellow apron will also be part of an Easter give-away too. As you can imagine, I've got big plans for Easter crafting.

Glorious finds and a 4 day work week!
It doesn't get much better.

XOXO

  2. I am so totally jealous. Seriously, we could have had so much fun. I have that Mr. Grabbit and he is cute. Love those eggs. But that record oh you did good. You know what I thought about last night.....that sweet cookie jar that will be coming out soon. Oh I have missed him. Smiles...Renee

  10. What pretty little easter hat corsages! I love Lear's "The Owl And The Pussycat", and am very curious about the Calico Pie part. Do they still go "to sea in a beautiful pea green boat", with honey and money and small guitars? :-) Love the little aqua dress. I need to get my little hot pad dresses out to display for Easter.

  14. I am totally into the Easter decor. There is still so much out there to discover! You are one great vintage shopper!

I ran into Target for a quick stop on Thursday, and I just had to take a second glance at that adorable collection. How funny you posted about it because I instantly thought of you! (I didn't indulge either, but I will be going back!)

Oh, I would be thrilled and honored to help you and Emma with a Nancy Drew party! Just say when...I would have been over the moon with happiness to have had one a her age.

Thanks for being such a great blog friend.
    Much love,
    Cindy
