A bit of fall tweaking...


Over the weekend, I packed up the rest of my summer decor knowing the next few weeks would be insanely busy at my University.

As much as I'm not ready to say goodbye to summer, I did enjoy tweaking my living room fireplace mantle with some of my favorite fall decorations.  
My mini log cabin collection will be making a guest appearance over the next few weeks.

Before you know it, my Halloween friends will be visiting. 

PS.  Between you and me...a few of them never left.  They've been partying in my craft room all year.

    How fun to decorate for fall! Unfortunately, all of my decorations are packed up until we move. I know I am going to miss decorating for the holidays!

    I'm home today and decided to finally tuck the summer stuff back in their boxes and get out the autumn stuff too. Your cabins in the woods are pretty darn cute! My husband the Dept 56 guy would have those babies surrounded with trees and accessories from his villages if he were there! Smile...

    Love your fall decorations! I can hardly wait to fall to really begin. This has been an unusual summer for us, not so pleasant, so looking forward to the new season..

    I plan on decorating the Living Room for Fall soon...
    I bought a pair of black sparkle shoes at Salvation Army last year that just screamed Witches Shoes to me. I have to now decide what exactly i will do with them...
