Where my mother creates...a special studio tour

My mother's birthday is August 10th and I thought it only fitting to honor the MOST talented and creative woman in my life. When we were together earlier this week, I kidnapped her camera and took a few pictures of her studio.
This is her childhood dollhouse.   Don't you love the pink shutters?

I really wish I had inherited her sewing/quilting skills.

I was standing in her walk-in closet for this picture and the mix of outdoor and indoor lighting made this shot a bit dark.

Emma wants to borrow her pink chandelier for her own bedroom.

It's such a beautiful room filled with all sorts of lovely touches.

Yes.  She really does draw, paint, sew, quilt, make miniatures and design the most amazing birthday cakes.

Thank you for always encouraging us to be creative. Happy Birthday, Mom!

  30. I can see where you get your crafty talent now :) It clearly runs in the family!! I bet she gets all kinds of amazing stuff done in there....cute spaces are alway perfect for creativity. Unlike my "craft zone" which is a TV tray and the living room floor. Ha!
