Before we gave into our weekend chores, Chris and I managed to sneak to a nearby estate sale early Saturday morning. It was the third day of the sale and everything was negotiable. I wasn't sure if I'd find any vintage holiday items, but I managed to come home with a few goodies.
2 mini Gurley turkey candles!
1 Chinese Checkerboard for my craft room collection.
1 box packed full of Christmas ornaments
A basket filled with an assortment of Christmas goodies
1 vinyl car carrying case...perfect for Josie's lalaloopsy car
One of my favorite $2 treasures, was this magnetic letter board.
Perfect for practicing spelling words and crafting messages! Happy almost-Thanksgiving! Happy short work-week!
The magnetic letter board looks like it would be fun for the whole family to leave messages! Of course I love the ornies and all of the sweet Christmas things! I'm on my lookout for pixies! Enjoy your week!
ReplyDeleteYou found some really great things there, Kim. Love the box of ornaments and the magnetic board. What fun- xo Diana

ReplyDeleteWe head to CA tomorrow to spend Thanksgiving with our sons. Always good to be with family over the holidays!
Have a great week!
I love parking the new car in the old garage! I had a red magnetic board like that from Child Guidance; toys didn't used to sing, makes sounds or require batteries! Just imagination and audio effects made by the kid playing with the toy!
ReplyDeletegreat stuffies! how cute is that little car shop. I went to three craft/antique coops yesterday and bought two cookie cutters and a small santa blowmold.... was looking for vintage elves.. nothing.. the few vintage santas I saw were either too beat for the price they wanted or really just too expensive. I was disappointed. I did dig out my tree and the ornamnents that I used on it last year. Im hoping to put it up wednesday... lol.. we'll see, lots of baking to do too.
ReplyDeleteanyways.. have a great short week!!
its almost like today is thursday already since tomorrow is my friday! lol
happy day!
xoxo
