Exam week = ice skating slumber party!

It's been exam week at the high school.

Friday night we're hosting a well-deserved ice skating/slumber party for a few of Emma's friends.

The cool temps have been ideal for making "new" ice.  Chris has also been busy "perfecting" the rink frame.

We now have bumper guards (made from swimming noodles) along the sides of the rink to protect precious body parts.

We all can't wait to enjoy some much-needed ice time!

Happy weekend!

  5. Kim, your husband's rink now looks professional! What fun the girls will have at their party. When I lived in Lake Ann, I would skate on the frozen lake. Magical! I miss the Michigan winters! E
