I'm going to be dragging out last Friday's estate sale acquisitions for weeks. It was such a great sale. This pinafore apron was found in the bottom of a trunk and smelled of old moth balls.
After a good soaking and some ironing, it looks as good as new. Isn't the rabbit stitching darling?
The best part, it's actually close to Josie's size!
Right next to the trunk with the smelly pinafore, was a bag of children's metal dishes.
We seriously don't need more play dishes, but for the $2 price tag, they had to come home with me.
Who wants to come over to play? Pretend cooking is my favorite kind of cooking.
the pinafore is so cute and looks darling on your beautiful little model, lol, the dishes look familiar to me, I must have saw them somewhere, at least they don;t break!
ReplyDeleteThat must have been one terrific estate sale. I saw the doll on the other post and about peed my pants and now this pinafore apron! Love it. Take me with you next time!
ReplyDeleteThat pinafore is precious. My Mom made me one that was very similar when I was a girl. Just adorable on Josie! Great deal on the dishes too. Play cooking is the best.

How sweet Josie looks in her vintage apron! It's a perfect fit. A new hockey player in the family, how wonderful. Oh how those skating photos remind me of my husband playing hockey on our frozen pond with our son. Such fun! Elizabeth
