Playing hooky...

My husband and I each enjoyed a vacation day from work on Friday.

 Despite an early morning snow storm, we managed to hit one fabulous estate sale, run a few necessary errands, and then hit the southern lake shore to visit a few of our favorite antique malls.

 Amazing how different the South Haven harbor looks during the winter.



It was a perfect Friday.  Just wait until you see all the goodies that came home with me.  The antique malls were fun, but the estate sale was fabulous.

This Effanbee 1930's doll was my favorite rescue.

    Sounds like a perfect way to spend the day. It looks like Patsy's coat has seen better days. Glad the little blue dress worked for her. :-)

    sounds like the perfect way to spend the day with your hubby.. I hope you went out to lunch too! Love your new baby doll and the little blue dress looks like it was made for her. Im going out today with my daughters and my future dil to do a little shopping.

    I love South Haven! Though I've never been there in the winter! They have so many wonderful shops there. Sounds like you lucked out at the estate sale:)

    Oh that doll is to die for!!!! I so wish you lived closer so you and your girls could come over and craft/play with me. I love to be surrounded by my crafty friends while crafting, and those peat pots you gals did are so cute.
