Emma's Catholic confirmation...


Last evening, Emma was confirmed in her Catholic faith.
Our niece (Jennifer) was Emma's confirmation sponsor. 

It was a beautiful mass held at our downtown cathedral.


With all the sorrow surrounding the bombing in Boston, to be in a church filled with such peace, beauty and strong faith, felt so very good.   
 Congratulations, Emma.  

We are very proud of you.

    Congratulations. Isn't she beautiful? I used to teach CCD many years ago before hubby went on to become a non-denominational pastor. It was fun to see the kids grow in their faith- xo Diana

    I didn't know our state had such a beautiful cathedral. It is absolutely breathtaking. Congratulations to your daughter on her confirmation. Having three kids who have been confirmed, I know how much hard work they have to do to prepare for the sacrament.

    I noticed that the confirmants do not wear red robes as they do here. I guess it is a territorial thing!! LOL!!
