Today is my last day of work for two whole weeks! The tank is full of gas, our bags are packed, routes have been determined, lodging has been secured, and our house sitter moves in this evening. Thank you "J". Penny and Luna will be happy to have company!
Last summer we took the girls on a mini Route 66 trip and had a great time exploring IL to MO.
This time, we'll be taking a slightly different route.
We're traveling through 10 different states in 14 days.
Emma will help with the driving on this trip.
PS. Even though I probably won't update my blog until we're home, I'll try and peek at your blogs every now and then. Don't have too much fun without me.

ReplyDeleteHave a safe trip! When the kids were little and we'd head out to San Jose Family Camp, the first thing Mike/Dad would ask them as we backed out was who are we??? And all five would yell, We're the Griswolds! We loved Chevy Chase in the movie Vacation! I'm sure you will have a blast!!
