I've wanted a long shelf above my craft room window to hold all my special Creative Breathing, ImagiMeri's, Vivs Whimsy and Magpie Ethel creations for awhile. On Saturday, Chris helped hang and build a shelf the length of my only window.
My craft room is a tiny bedroom in our finished basement that is literally bursting at the seams with vintage toys, crafting supplies and hand-made treasures given to me by fellow bloggers.
I love my new shelf and now I can get the rest of my special room ready for a pictorial tour.
I'm hoping after work, I can finish taking pictures of the entire space.
Between you and me, it hasn't been this organized in months.
You know you are teasing us don't you??? A few pictures here and there... Can't wait for the big day when we see the whole room! I need a shelf too... When you have a lot of "stuff" sometimes you just need to go up!
ReplyDeleteThat shelf has given you a perfect place to display your pretty creations! It's nice a have a room just for crafting and treasures! You have a smart hubby....tell him I said that! heehee! Have fun!
ReplyDeleteWell, well . . . that will be exciting to see! I like the shelf over the window. My Suzie had a shelf all around her room when she was a little girl. She had her many collections of horses, Stieff, dolls and everything else in view. Your shelf brought back memories . . .

Looks like it would be pretty easy to get inspired in that room, Kim. No wonder all of your creations are so cute! You made me laugh about it never being this organized. I always tell people that the only reason things get dusted is because I'm taking pictures for my blog! Can't wait to see more.....
ReplyDeleteI love seeing pictures of your craft room because I know this is your happy place. As for being organized, I can organize all day but once I start using it, it is messy again!
