Vintage Christmas in July

Before I went on our two week road trip, my swap partner Linda from "Lutka and Company" exchanged our "Vintage Christmas in July" packages.

The swap was hosted by Erica from Golden Vintage Egg.   Thank you for coordinating this, Erica!
When Linda's package arrived, I nearly fainted at the size of the box.
She sent me so many treasures I could barely imagine the amount of time she spent putting everything together.
 I love everything.
She even tucked in a miniature piano that's a music box.
Just the right size for one of my many doll houses.
As you can see, we both enjoy vintage Christmas.
Such fun!
The girls were especially pleased to see that they were also included in the swap too.
Here's a shot of the package I put together for Linda.
If you'd like to see what Christmas goodies that made their way across the country from my house to Linda's, you can find it here on her blog.
THANK YOU, Linda! It's been a pleasure getting to know you!  I promise if I ever get to CA, I will take you up on your offer of fresh squeezed orange juice.  You can find Linda's blog here and her etsy store here.   Merry Vintage Christmas in July!

  5. Hi Kim. I am so sorry for my long absence. If you are still interested in reading my blog, I have recently posted.

Wow! I loved reading and following the recent posts of your great road adventure. We are in the talking stage of taking a road adventure next summer traveling up your way with Mackinac Island and the Grand Hotel as our main destination.

During my time away, I have thought about you, especially when I crafted or went to thrift shops and estate sales. I just love the rush of finding that lost treasure! You and Chris have had some wonderful finds.

Anyway, I promised you and the girls that Nancy Drew book. And I finally found one recently. In addition, I went to an estate sale across town and found a darling Hallmark owl ornament from the 80s. I will get these in the mail soon.

The girls are as beautiful as ever. I can't believe Emma is driving!

    Many hugs with sincere apology,
    Cindy
