Melted plastic popcorn and other vintage treasures...

Raise your hand if you remember these popcorn plastic decorations from the late 60s/70s?
Of course, I had to scoop them up as soon as I saw them at a recent estate sale.
I also brought home a few more cardboard cutouts and a few vintage Christmas pieces.
The anagrams, Christmas Santa mugs and bead trims will be used for crafting projects.
My husband surprised me this week with a handful of holiday treasures from a different estate sale.  I love the size of this bottle brush tree.  It's HUGE!

He's gotten good at tracking down sales on his way home from school.

Lastly, I have to share my Halloween costume makeover. A month ago, I found this homemade Halloween costume for .50 cents and fell in love with the orange and black colors.
I added homemade yarn pom poms to the buttons and sewed black ruffles to the collar.  I also made a badge from scrapbooking paper and ribbon.   The little girl wooden hanger was painted by my mother in the 70s when my grandparents still owned a woman/children's clothing store.  Isn't she sweet?
Although the costume is too small for Josie, she gladly modeled it.
We're both sending you all a few Halloween hugs!

PS.  It's homecoming weekend at Emma's high school.  Marching band, Varsity football, and a homecoming dance will keep our schedules full.  My camera will be busy capturing it all.

The company is still in business so I can get you any you want (only yours are more special being vintage!). I have the Halloween ones, a turkey and several Christmas ones. Just let me know! You have been doing so great with those estate sales I am so excited over all your finds!
