A spoolie swap and my new favorite etsy store!

The photo above and below are from my swap partner, Wendy (from Ravenwood Whimzies). We exchanged Halloween themed spoolies. Isn't the expression on the pumpkins' face fantastic?
She also tucked in some scented candle warmers, and a roll of decorative paper and some candy.  As you can imagine, the chocolate was devoured by the girls immediately. Thank you, Wendy!
This is what I crafted for Wendy.
My Halloween-themed spoolie has black cat graphics, vintage cupcake picks and an embellished china doll head with a witch hat.
Here is the rest of my stash before I shipped it off.   Thank you Deb and Sandy for coordinating this swap.  It's always fun to get to know new bloggers.  Speaking of new...many of you had commented on this black cat spoolie when I posted it Friday.
I have a new favorite etsy store called, PartyPopPop.  The artist is local to West Michigan and she makes cupcake toppers from clay and paper.
I ordered six Halloween cupcake toppers (2 of each of these Halloween designs).
I've been busy adding pipecleaners and other embellishments to use them as Halloween ornaments on my orange feather tree.
I just love the expressions on their faces.
The crafting possibilities are endless!!

I hope your weekend has been a good one. When we weren't at Emma's marching band competition, we were busy decorating the inside of our house for our upcoming Halloween festivities.  Even the ladders came out so be prepared for lots of pictures this week! Don't forget.  There's still time to enter my Craft Happy Halloween Give-away.

  12. Cute as always! I wanted to let you know that I finally have your goodies packaged up and ready for the post office tomorrow. I am so sorry it has taken me this long.

We have recently purchased a new home in our same neighborhood. We bought it at auction and will close this Friday. It is a Victorian brick built in 1905. We are so excited about our new home, but there is lots of clean up to do and just some TLC ahead before we can move in. The big items are central heat and air AND the kitchen! Hopefully we can do these two big projects before we move in.

I told you this to tell you this...I am going to close down my old blog and start a new one as of Friday. This one will focus mainly on our new home as we renovate it and make it ours. We are still having issues, and so I have decided to feature the kids only occasionally.

Also, Chris and I traveled to Cleveland, Ohio in September and saw beautiful Lake Erie. We were so inspired that we have decided to take a road trip in June through Kentucky, Ohio, and then to Michigan to see Mackinac Island and stay at the Grand Hotel. (We love the movie Somewhere in Time.)
Feel free to give us any recommendations!

Hope the girls are having a great school year!

Many hugs...I know that the Kenward home is bursting at the seams with Halloween fare!

  14. Kim,
Such cute things!! I am so missing decorating for Fall/Halloween but after the Remodel and the Harvest Tea this week, I just can not even think about decorating the house for Halloween. I will slowly start with Christmas. Thanks so much for all your kind words about the Remodel. I am glad it is behind us though....

    Hugs,

    Deb

  15. Hi Kim, I'm just getting around to catching up on my blogs- I love looking through all your Halloween decorations! Those pumpkin blowmolds are such an easy way to look festive- maybe I'll start looking for them while I'm out. You and your blog always make me inspired to think about decorating for holidays other than Christmas!
