Weekend Halloween transformations...

Emma's marching band looked amazing this weekend.
When we weren't at the high school , we've were outside messing around with Halloween decorations.
The front porch garland is always my favorite.
This year, we tried something new with all our extra plastic pumpkin candy buckets.  Chris drilled holes in the base of each pumpkin and put his skeleton stake lights through the holes. I really like how they've jazzed up the front window boxes.
The dancing skeletons are always Josie's favorite.  Each skeleton is suspended with fishing line and hanging from our maple tree.   We're just getting warmed up with our outdoor decorations and I have two more fireplace mantles to share.  Josie and I also made super easy mummy-inspired caramel apples Saturday evening.  Pictures and directions to come in a future post.

The Halloween fun continues!

  6. Emma's marching band has great form :) And I love your Halloween garlands too - especially the cute pumpkin lanterns with the smiling faces. And Josie is brave - I wouldn't want to be surrounded with skeletons, even if they are made of plastic! :)
