When Chris and Josie took apart the backyard ice skating rink over the weekend, he dragged all the ice to the edges of the yard so that grass could start recovering from 4+ months of skating.
With a bit of creativity, lots of back labor and some green and white Christmas lights, the ice rink has been transformed into our own emerald city.
You have to admit it looks pretty magical at night.
Don't expect the yellow brick road to appear anytime soon though. Our backyard is more like the black lagoon with all those months of snow and ice.
Very COOL!
ReplyDeleteRenate took the words out of my mouth... Very Cool!!!:@)

ReplyDeleteNeat! Ruby slippers probably would be best to be left behind, though.:-)
ReplyDeleteThat's really beautiful. You still have all that snow and ice. I thought ours would never melt but it did awhile ago.

What a sweet doll house that Diana posted. You are just so kind.
I have been a little busy lately, hah. I guess I am glad that I get to do all that I do.
