The Halloween blowmolds have been officially relocated to the garage attic and my two pilgrim blowmolds are now stationed on the front porch.
With our cold and snowy weather, I've been tempted to start dragging out Christmas but it took me so long to pack up Halloween, that I'm kinda enjoying a cleaner minimal house right now.
I only have one bin of Thanksgiving and these goodies are primarily located in the living room.
I had loads of turkeys and Pilgrims but now I have a few Indians too.
When I was packing up my Halloween tree, I decided to keep up a few of my autumn garlands and it's now become my "Thanksgiving tree".
Yes. I have officially decorated my sunroom tree for every single holiday (including some made-up holidays). I'm feeling blessed that my family tolerates my holiday goofiness. Gobble Gobble!
Hi Kim,
ReplyDeleteYour Thanksgiving tree is great! And so is your mantle, I've always been fond of Pilgrim and Indian decorations. Cute, cute!
Happy Wednesday!
Gina
are those little honeycomb turkeys on the tree?
ReplyDeleteI also like the relative quiet of this in between month. Too much clutter in my head for October and December!
I kind of like the simplicity of my Thanksgiving decorations as well...Halloween was crazy and not quite ready to face the Christmas stuff out yet (lets not count the insane show inventory here) Why are Indians so hard to track down?
ReplyDeleteYour tree and mantle both look wonderful! I love your candles and that old rusty truck. You said Gobble gobble and I said Quack Quack! We're a 'pair', aren't we? heehee!
ReplyDeleteI think I agree that after Halloween it's good to enjoy a little less for Thanksgiving befor the Christmas decorations begin. I love my Thanksgiving stuff so much I just don't have as much as Halloween and CHristmas :) Have a great day! Polar vortex coming our way here on Long Island and I've been watching the weather you guys have been having! Hugs! Maggie
ReplyDeleteI am enjoying my Thanksgiving decorations too and not really ready to face the Christmas fuss. I really wish there was more time between the two holidays.
ReplyDeleteYour front porch looks so pretty with the decorations.
I am ready for some turkey, too!
ReplyDeleteJust glanced back at some posts I missed somehow. You've been busy with the place at the lake. How much fun it will be to hide out there this winter! xo Nellie
Your candles are so cute! Lovin' your Thanksgiving tree, my little feather tree is up with glass acorn ornaments and seasonal colored balls. Hope you're not getting too much snow:@)
ReplyDeleteIt's always so much fun decorating for a new holiday! Everything looks so cute!
ReplyDeleteHope you have a great week!
Love your fall/Thanksgiving decorations! Soooo cute!! Gobble gobble!
ReplyDeleteWell, you wouldn't be you if you didn't decorate that tree for all the holidays (including the made up ones). Too cute. I love it - I always smile when I visit you! xo Diana
ReplyDeleteLove your turkey tree . . . delightful!
ReplyDeleteI was so excited to see that you found the Indian Gurley candles! I have a mixture of Thanksgiving and Christmas going on in my house right now. My family also puts up with my holiday quirkiness. Aren't we lucky!
ReplyDeleteErica
It seems that most of us over the top decorators only have one bin of thanksgiving! Ive noticed a couple other girls have said the same thing. I found two turkeys at an antique craft coop on tuesday. was so happy to find them and add them to my little collecton.
ReplyDeleteLove all your decorations as usual!
and woohoo!!! its the weekend!
Have a great one! (Im on call.... blaaahhh...)
