Friday night, I promised Josie that she could have a sleepover which included making and decorating sugar cookies.
Lots of fun was had, but I'm continuing to find sprinkles and icing in all sorts of strange places. While running errands on Saturday, Chris and I popped into a new antique store near our home.
Of course, a few things managed to find their way home with me.
I loved this St. Nicholas so much that I decided I needed to make another Christmas wreath.
Never one to pass up honeycombs (especially when they are marked 4 for $1) these also needed to be rescued.
It's my last week at work and my to-do list is a mile long.
Perhaps, Santa will find me some extra elves to get everything done this week. Christmas hugs!!
Cute, cute, cute finds, Kim. I really love those honeycombs.
ReplyDeleteI spotted that candy cane cookie cutter. We had one just like that when I was a kid growing up. It was my favorite cookie cutter. I wish I could have gone home to her house and picked up some things when she died. I would have taken those old cookie cutters.
Have a great last week of work before your break! xo Diana
Sprinkles and icing...too funny, the girls must have had such fun. Love your new treasures and the wreath is fab.
ReplyDeleteI sure could use an elf too, and yay for last weeks of work! :)
Ps/did you always have word verification? I think Google changed some things for lots of us.
I just love that star/angel on tp of the tree. Too cute!
ReplyDeleteVery cute honeycombs! I wish my grandgirl would make cookies with me!
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas.

I could use some extra elves around here, too.:-) Lovely sleepover, great antique finds! Our lists are too long! Take time to breathe. xo Nellie
ReplyDeleteSt. Nick looks wonderful on that wreath! What is it about wreaths lately? They're so fun to make! I think we're looking at them in a different way, with endless options of what can go on them besides flowers!
ReplyDeleteTammy and Deb were going to come over tomorrow for some crafting fun, but I pulled something in my back and had to cancel. Boo Hoo.
Hoping I feel better soon because I really want to make some sugar cookies with sprinkles!
Hugs- Erica :)

That tiny tinsel tree is absolute perfection! I love finding new stores to explore. Especially because the old ones around here are starting to get a little lazy about changing out their booths!
ReplyDeleteHappy Holidays~

I know the days are dwindling till Christmas but don't worry! It all gets done! Everything gets baked, bought, wrapped, decorated and finished in time for you to enjoy the days with your family. Love that tree! Just a couple of days and it's v-a-c-a-t-i-o-n!!! Maggie
