This and that...

Chris tried to heat up the pipes at the A-frame, but they remain frozen, so we continued with weekend adventures at home.
By the way, we're thinking Friday night might have been our last Friday skate.  We've got a warm-up with 40+ degrees everyday the rest of this week!
Although it's going to take awhile to get rid of all this snow and ice, we're ALL ready for a spring thaw.
I haven't posted any estate sale pictures in a while, but I did manage to go to an estate sale a few weeks ago.  I bought the child-sized trunk for the graphics and plan to display it with my Easter decorations.
The bonus was that it was filled with Dawn Dolls!  My sister and I loved playing with Dawn.  Yes.  I'm reliving my 70s childhood.
I also came home with a box filled flower frogs, an Easter planter, deer statue, wooden ducks and Easter card.  The planter already has received a makeover.
Have a wonderful week ahead!  Keep thinking warm thoughts!

  1. It's much warmer here, too. In fact, it's almost HOT! I just love your trunk...such cute graphics. And, your dolls are groovy! The clothes in the 70's were fun. I had several hot pink and orange dresses. Boots were a must, too! Have a wonderful week!

  2. We are expecting a warmu up in the 40's too this week! Can't wait! I need some Springtime! Those Dawn dolls look like they are in mint condition. I had Dawn, Glory, Angie & Gary, the trunk, and the car :)I think I may have had the house but I can't recall for sure. LOVED THEM!!! WIsh I still had them :( GIve me a few hours and I'll be right over to play with you! I've been looking at Jody on ebay. Did you play with Jody? She was the "Country Girl Doll" in between Dawn's size and Barbie's size.. and had a general store and kitchen that was great!!! I had that too (also gone) but thinking I might rebuy it so Caitlin can have fun....well, Caitlin and I can have fun....or just me...Maggie

  14. Oh, I had that exact same doll trunk, but I sold it on Ebay- it would have been perfect as an Easter decoration- darn! I'm sure you're ready for some warmer weather. We're in the stage here where it's really cold in the morning, but then really hot in the afternoon!
