Have I said how much I love that it's only 40 minutes away?
By 6:30, I had a pot of pasta cooking and we were ready for a night of board games, coloring books and reading.
It was a cool weekend but sunny, and we spent time exploring the Muskegon river.
The weekend zipped by, but it was just about perfect.
What cherished memories you're making! Make as many as you can because it's not the same once they're gone!

oh- These posts make my heart hurt just a little-remembering all the time we spent at the cottage with our kids when they were little. We didn't even have a TV there for years and years.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful spot you found!!! Your kids will always remember the times they spend there now. xo Diaan

I just love it. We've made a few trips with our new pop-up camper, but it's always such a chore packing and unpacking. How I would love to have a place that's always there, ready for my family to unplug and spend time together!
