Here we go again!

Greetings! How is your week going? While I’ve been busy at work, my husband and girls have been purging and preparing for a garage sale which happens Friday and Saturday at our house.
 They've also managed to hit an estate sale or two.
I've been on the hunt for more blowmold planters and this swan was another fun rescue and she's now quite happy nestled near our tiny backyard pond.
 Gotta love a husband who isn't afraid to purchase swan blowmolds and dollhouse furniture without his wife.  Yes.  I do have more dollhouse furniture than most people have real furniture, but I can justify my collections because I do have several empty dollhouses.  hee hee.
 No lake time for us girls this weekend, but Chris will be supervising the installation of 3 new slider doors on the lake-side of the A-frame on Monday.  
Can't wait to have slider doors that seal properly and leave Mother Nature outside.
He'll also be painting the rest of the non-sliding doors at the Aframe this deep red.  Boy, I love my handy husband!

    Good luck with the garage sale purge. I'll be doing the same thing except in 100 plus heat! That swan looks strangely familiar....

    Looks like a good garage sale start up to me! My mom had two of those swan planters...lol She had asparagus ferns in them -as best I remember.

    If I lived near you, I would come buy all the stuff in your first pic to keep here for my grandpies!
    Ive said it before and Im sure to say again.. but that Chris is a keeper for sure! that doll house furniture is awesome! love that old sink.
    not sure what I'll be doing this weekend. puttering.. cleaning.. shopping... maybe some crafting and a baby shower for a friend.
    You should be receiving my package today! just checked the tracking.. says its set for delivery.

    Good luck on the garage sale! Wow such great dollhouse furniture! I never come across that at sales. Ever! So many wonderful things happening at the lake house. It looks sooo great!!!

    Are you allowed to shop estate sales when you're purging your own stuff? :) I have plans to have a sale in a few weeks, so I'm "trying" to hold off on estate sales, but it's sooooo hard!

    I love going to yard sale, but I hate having them. But, I need to have one - soon! Good luck to you! PS I kept my son's Little Tikes truck - it is int eh backyard with a pot of flowers in the back. He's almost 20! :)

    Sounds like your hubby and girls are having fun while you're working! :) There so thoughtful to buy you such great things though. Cute dollhouse furniture, I want to see which house you end up putting them in. Hope your garage sale went well. We are going to have one of July 4th and hope it goes well.

    I spotted that dollhouse furniture right away in your car! Let's see those empty dollhouses you've got sitting around! (I'm one to talk though, because I've got several houses I haven't shown on the blog yet...) Hope you guys are having a successful garage sale- it always feels so good to clear things out!

    Do you know anything about the wooden dollhouse furniture you photographed on this post? I recently bought a metal dollhouse and it had some of that same wooden furniture in it — I’d love to know something about it!
