Last year, we invested in a new furnace and water heater. This summer we had new sliders/windows replaced so that we really can enjoy our Aframe year-round.
Mother nature can really stay outside where she belongs!
It was definitely a weekend of heavy outdoor labor, but we are officially ready for cooler weather.
I even pulled out a few Christmas decorations.
Have a wonderful weekend.
We have snow in the forecast. Stay cozy!
have a wonderful cozy weekend! You'll be so happy you made that wise investment last year cause you will really get to enjoy your time at the A frame even more! Caitlin and I are headed to Lancaster, PA for the weekend with two of my sister-in-laws. Lots of eating, shopping and chatting in our plans! Love ya!
ReplyDeleteHi Kim, every time I see your A Frame it makes me want to play with the Fisher Price A Frame! Enjoy your time there, it looks very cozy. I like your plaid and deer vignette, very cute!

Your cabin is so cute, and your view amazing. Ah, heat and hot water, you are really going to enjoy it this winter! Think I could live there full time. :)
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your snow, hopefully just a little bit of snow, right?
I am so thrilled that you get so much use and enjoyment out of your cabin. I remember how excited you were when you found it! Enjoy every moment there! I know you do! xo Diana
ReplyDeleteps. Love all your little fall touches there.
This year, I am really torn as to how I want to decorate for the holidays. Part of me wants to bring out all of my vintage goodness, but then the other part of me wants to go with a rustic, cabin theme with all things plaid! I thought of you the other day and thought of how lucky you are to get to do both!
ReplyDeleteYour cabin is looking amazing right now. Well, it ALWAYS does but I am loving how cozy it looks in the Fall.
Happy Weekend!
Erica
The A frame looks so cozy and comfy . . .
ReplyDeleteGreat fun investment for the family . .
Skating soon . . . snowmen too . . .
No snow here yet at 7:03 . . . Saturday morning, 11.21.15 . . .
Love that place -- so beautiful there! And love your red plaid Thermos supplies! :) Stay warm and toasty!
ReplyDeleteWhat a glorious place and now you can use it comfortably year around. I hope this winter it brings you great fun and joy.
ReplyDeletethe cute pilgrim candles in your header make me smile! There is a wonderful commercial on TV that begins with a wartime husband giving his wife a pair of pilgrim candles for their first Thanksgiving. The years pass by and we see those little candles appear for dinner each year and how the family changes. It makes me happy...it's such a sweet ad.
ReplyDeleteI want to move in! It looks so cozy for winter too!
ReplyDeleteKim,
ReplyDeleteEverything looks so cute at the A Frame and how wonderful that you can spend time there in the Winter!!
Thanks so much for stopping by and Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours!!
Hugs,
Deb
Oh, that reminds me- the house back behind our new property is a giant A-frame! With a giant BLUE roof! A little bit of an eye-sore, but that's okay- I think I'll have to buy a vintage Fisher Price blue-roofed A-frame for Avery!
ReplyDeleteI love your little Christmas vignettes- all the plaid and the little deer outside the cabin- so cozy and sweet!!
Kim, it all looks so cozy. Glad you re geared up to spend some winter time at the A-frame.Love all the Scotch coolers.
