Is it only in my house???

I feel like I pick up 100 of these hair accessories every day. I find them everywhere. In the car. The bathtub. The laundry. The garage. The kitchen counters. My coat pockets (and I don't even use them). Someday if we ever move, our next homeowner is going to find these hair accessories in places I've never ever dreamed of. I try to keep them in containers, but it's hopeless. With summer fast approaching and the above-ground pool getting set up in a few weeks, these things are going to be multiplying like rabbits!!

On a completely different subject...

Josie is so eager to try everything that her big sister does.

Most of Emma's activities don't always lend themselves to being toddler friendly, but art work and reading books are usually things that both can enjoy, despite the eight years age difference.

I've got a few fun projects planned this long Memorial weekend with the girls. I can't wait.

Hopefully, the weather cooperates and we can do some of them outdoors! I'm so ready for a long weekend away from work. It doesn't hurt that my birthday is on Sunday either...hee hee!!

I still can't believe it's only Wednesday. Come on WEEKEND! I'm ready!!!

  1. Hey Kim,Thanks so much for the encouragement! Josie looks so good! I find hair accessories everywhere also! With four girls and myself we have hair accessories galore! And we lose sooo many hairbrushes! What is with that? Anyway, thank you for taking the time to write and sending encouraging words. It means alot! *hug* bobbie

  2. Same I'm looking at two of them as I type. My challenge is to have matching hair clips. Nina has the uncanny ability to lose one of pretty much every pair *sigh*.
It was really bad when she first came home - we'd go places, and she would just shove her hair accessories on a shelf at the store. Just imagine trying to find hairclips behind rows of cowboy boots....

  4. Oh yeah, we've got the breeding rubber band/issue at my house, too. Except for the really good paired clippies, they seem to get lost fastest and for good!

Are you still working? If not, maybe we could get the girls together for some park fun...let me know.

  5. Happy Birthday on Sunday!
No, it is certainly not only your house...and not only do I pick up 100 fo them every day, I feel like we lose so many, I buy more of them everytime I go to the town.

I don't have the long Memorial Day weekend, but only one more week, and then it's summer.

    yeah!

  9. Kim, Glad to hear that your Dad is OK. And as for the hair accessories, well I have no comment except to say that LM takes hers out and LOSES them!!! I told her she needs to start bringing them to Mommy when she takes them out, and she just grinned. Little stinker!!!
