Guilty Pleasures...

I was up very late Saturday night playing in my craft room. I really need to get a clock in that room because time just gets away from me when I get busy working on projects. I haven't been in my craft room all week because of our home construction and I was having too much fun with glue and crepe paper. Before I knew it, it was after midnight and my entire house was fast asleep (including Penny).

I wanted to show off a couple of other items in my craft room that are my guilty pleasures. This is a child's ironing board that is covered with quilt batting, fabric and ribbon.

It holds vintage greeting cards and a few of my favorite pictures of the girls.

I also have a record player that I listen to while I craft.

Right now, I'm enjoying Perry Como and Tony Bennett. Call me old fashioned, but it's so soothing to listen to LPs. Most thrift stores are selling albums for less than a dollar now.

Here's a sneak peek of what I was working on until midnight.

I'm in full blown Easter mode. Instructions on how to make these two different style candy cups will be in a few days. Most of the supplies for this project can be found at the Dollar Tree.

Have a wonderful Sunday.

Brings back childhood memories, and all the fun things you could do with them, like going really fast, slow, oh, we were entertained :-)) And the crackles that come on first...
