Aside from decorating for Chinese New Year, I'm also pulling out some Valentine decorations for my kitchen counter and craft room. Are you ready for Valentine's...because I’m ready to do another give-away with a few vintage and hand-made goodies thrown in.
Just leave a comment by Monday January 24 by 8pm (EST) and become a follower. I hope you are having a crafty weekend!
I am actually going to be crafty this weekend! I have an excited co-hort so that will push me to finish this one....Hope to share pictures soon! Have a terrific weekend!
I just pulled my V-day stuff out the other day. I am looking forward to making some scrapbook pages but I have been trying to reorganize my scrapbooking area, so once that is done, the fun will begin. Enjoy your weekend.
I am trying to come up with some interesting Valentine's Day decoration but so far the inspiration muse hasn't stuck me yet. (-: Looking forward to seeing yours.
Just found your blog when visiting Tonggu Momma's blog. I was looking for CNY ideas and wow did I find some, as well as wonderful links. Can't wait to share your blog with my China Adoption group of moms. We're planning our CNY get together and your blog gave me some wonderful ideas. Thank you! Dawn (ladlt@cebridge dot net)
I just love your Valentine's day tree! I've never seen one til now, it's beautiful! And your craft room is so fun, it reminds me of Mary Englebreit! Keep warm:)
Found you through Sarah's blog, Makin' Projiks! I LOVE your CNY tree! It is so colorful and wonderful. I can't wait to get all the goodies from the Heart to Heart swap. Maybe I'll win this, too--that'll make it even more special!
Well hello, Kim K! I just found your blog from Sarah @ Makin'Projiks. I am going to be a first time Heart to Heart Swap. It has been so long since I crafted, (kids are all grown up and have flown the coop!) and I have been a sole caregiver to my mother for the last couple years. I started a blog for both of us to have fun with, but have never had the time to do it since mom got sick. Now that she is in a care facility, I may finally have the time to participate in the wonderful world of blogland. Anyway, though I wasn't able to do exactly what I wanted for the swap, I hope my Valentines will be worthy of every one, lol. Next year, I will definitely start earlier ;-) I can't wait to explore more of your wonderful blog.
How fun!!!! PG's 2nd grade class is known for doing a huge Chinese New Year parade complete with the dragon costume and all....should be fun! Always love your decor! ; )
Because I was the lucky winner of last year's Valentine drawing, please don't put my name in the hat. I did want to mention how happy I was to 'find' my cute items from last year to decorate with yet again. You are so talented, Kim. Thanks for sharing with me!! Sherry
Thank you for following our adventures. I always enjoy reading your comments. Happy crafting! Happy thrifting! PS. Ignore that "robot" verification. You can ignore/skip that step since I can't seem to remove it from blogger.
All that vintage goodness is absolutely adorable. In the first photo I love the little ceramic snow angel on a doily, so sweet!
ReplyDeleteHow fun! Thanks so much!
