Happy Birthday Emma & Bieber Fever continues...

Today Emma is officially a teenager.
Gulp! How did that happen??

The countdown continues for Emma's Bieber fever 13th birthday party (which is being held on Saturday). Over the weekend, I created some crepe paper candy cups.

I'm addicted to making crepe paper candy cups. I love finding excuses to make them. If you search my blog, you'll see lots of examples. Here's a quick tutorial .

Supplies:
Nut party cups
Crepe paper
White craft glue
Hot glue
Ribbon (other embellishments)

1. Draw a line of white glue around the center of the crepe paper cup.

2. Fold crepe paper to create pleats

3. Attach ribbon with hot glue around the center
or near the bottom of the cup.

4. Embellish with stickers, flowers (in our case Justin images) and fill with candy.

If you haven't figured it out, Justin Bieber's favorite color is purple.

While we're talking about party decorations, we'll be pulling out the Harry Potter/Halloween wall and creating a backstage rock star entrance to Emma's party. Instructions for making the wall can be found on this Halloween post.


And since Emma will be reading this post (who am I kidding, she reads all my posts) I'd love to have my readers wish her a Happy Birthday. What 13 year old wouldn't be tickled with a bunch of people from around the United States/world thinking about her?? You could even tell her what state/country you're from....she would totally get a kick out of that!!
