Lamp Shade Makeover

Thank you for all the birthday wishes. Emma was all smiles last evening reading everyone's well wishes for her special day. I still can't believe I have a teenager!!

Earlier this week, I showed off a lovely vintage hat and pink lamp from Saturday's thrifty purchases.

The lamp is going in the treehouse and I decided the creamy/white shade needed a bit of a makeover.

I started by stripping all the flowers from my pink hat.

I then added a layer of lace and trim around the top and base of the shade with my hot glue gun.

I then added the silk flowers around the rim of the shade with my hot glue gun.

It's so pretty now, I think I might just want to keep it for myself.
I did promise it to the girls for their treehouse.
And just wait to you see what I did with those buttons.
I promise to show off those later this week too!

Happy crafting!

XOXO
