One of the biggest items to come home with me, was this cupboard.
You should have seen my sister and I carrying this beast to our van.
My arms were numb for a good 10 minutes.

My arms were numb for a good 10 minutes.
I'm planning on using it to store my vintage tablecloths, candles and cloth napkins. Renee from My Vintage Mending bought a similar cupboard on this post and her makeover is simply gorgeous.
Other goodies that found their way home with me included this picnic basket.
After putting together a glitter banner, I moved the picnic basket to the front porch, where it is holding lots of gourds and mini pumpkins. In addition to this basket, I also picked up several vintage Christmas and Halloween items.
I was also very happy to spot this $3 checker board. She'll proudly go on display with the rest of my collection in my craft room.
I've already given my .50 cent bottle brush wreath a makeover.

ReplyDeleteAll fantastic finds Kim! That cupboard is perfect. I can't wait to see where you put it! Love the height.
ReplyDeleteReally pretty boots too :)
Great finds, I love the cupboard! And you boots are adorable!
ReplyDeleteI thought of Renee's cabinet as soon as I saw yours - you'll do something great with it, I'm sure. All of your other finds (especially Christmas and Halloween!) were great, too - worth putting up with the rain!
ReplyDeleteI'm looking forward to your "after" shots of the cupboard. You can never have too much storage, especially when you're a collector. I have those exact cookie cutters in my kitchen. I received them as a wedding shower gift. I've known it for awhile, but am now publicly stating that I, myself, am "vintage." :-) Sherry F.
ReplyDeleteIt paid you to get a little wet for all these goodies. You did very well on all your purchses.
ReplyDeleteGreat finds! You do have an eye for treasures...
ReplyDeleteI will hit Ann Arbor's Treasure Mart Friday and try to remember to take pictures!
Have a great week!
Very little I think needs to be done to the cabinet. I would change the front cloth and then maybe just wipe it down really well! So great. Everything else was a great find too. Your basket with the halloween decor is really cute.

Wow....WOW! You found so many wonderful things, and I especially can't wait to see how your cabinet makeover turns out. It's so nice and slim, and I can tell it will hold alot of your tablecloths. I think I would have trudged through knee-deep mud to get it!
