My, how they've grown...

While Chris was helping a colleague move on Saturday, I took the girls to our local pumpkin farmer for our annual pictures. We've been going back to visit this farm every year since Josie's adoption three years ago. I always look forward to seeing just how much the girls have changed from year to year.

Emma age 10, Josie age 2 (2008)
Josie age 3, Emma age 11 (2009)

Emma age 12 Josie age 4 (2010)

Don't they look so grown up this year?
Especially Emma.

Josie age 5
Emma age 13

Happy Tuesday!
Have you signed up for my no strings-attached
Halloween give-away?

XOXO

  1. Pumpkin patches are such the perfect place to take an annual photo. We try to do that as well. Your daughters are beautiful, while they have grown up their smiles have remained exactly the same. Have a great day!

  4. Emma is sooooo grownup. Yikes. :-)

I love comparing Josie's happy, open little face to her Gotcha Day or orphanage photos. The anxiety and worry are washed away from her expressions because she is loved and cherished within your family. Her smile warms my heart.

  5. Hi, Kim! Your girls are just precious! I have all boys but really enjoy my grangirls.

Thanks for signing up for my give away! I've been doing a bit of Fall decorating but for some reason, I've just never been into Halloween stuff. You girls who do like it sure have fun with it, though! Enjoy! ♥

  6. Kim your girls are just so sweet. I cannot believe how much each year they change. Miss Josie lost her baby chubs and Emma looks like a young woman. Don't you want to freeze time? Love fall and all its colors...smiles...Renee

  12. Beautiful girls! Isn't it so bittersweet watching them grow?

There was once a Peanuts comic where Lucy would push Linus's head down with her thumb every time she passed by because she didn't want him to grow taller than her. Maybe I should try that on my kids!
