As you can imagine, we’ll be spending all weekend packing up our Halloween décor. It takes weeks to assemble and so it's bitter sweet when the infamous party is all over.
I also have plans to convert my Halloween tree over for Thanksgiving. I even have a few more peat pots that could use some Thanksgiving graphics.
While I'm thinking about it, Josie's Indian peg dolls that we crafted a few years ago might need a few more friends.
Happy November, everyone!
XOXO

Just put all my decorations away and now I'm getting ready for Christmas..lol. Our Thanksgiving is in October. So from september till the end of October it's Fall decorations...Blessings and enjoy this wonderful season.
ReplyDeleteI am putting away decorations too. Unfortunately, I don't have too many Thanksgiving decorations, but I plan to pick up a few things this year!
ReplyDeleteHooray for a new month! However, we are suppose to get snow today! Boo hoo!
Oh I think that they most surely need more friends :) Some pilgrims and a turkey! Have fun putting away all of your Halloween decor. Ours are piled in one gigantic jumble in the middle of the living room floor at the moment.....
ReplyDeleteLove you sweet gurlies but those blow molds are darling. I adore them...too! Enjoy your fall day and thoughts of fall crafts...smiles...Renee
ReplyDeleteThe clean up is always the worst, but at least there's another holiday coming up!!
ReplyDeleteI don't envy your packing away Halloween...I will put it off for several more weeks. Not many Thanksgiving decorations here. I do have two Pilgrim mice....maybe they should come out to be front and center?!
ReplyDeleteHave a great week!
Rather than decorate for Halloween, I do more of a Fall theme (with just a hint of Halloween), that way, I can keep it up til Christmas. Which is also good because I don't have one single Thanksgiving decoration!
ReplyDeleteI love your sweet pilgrims! Enjoy your week! WHEW...you had FUN! ♥
ReplyDeleteHappy November..
ReplyDeleteLove ya girly.
That's a lot of boxes!
ReplyDeleteThose Thanksgiving candles are darling!
Why can't I find luminaries like that!
Those are perfect!
I got all of my Halloween stuff put into the attic last night. I had taken all the indoor stuff down before I went to be Monday night. All that was left was the front porch, so we took that down as soon as hubby got home. I do not have a lot of Thanksgiving either. But, I did dig out my Thanksgiving ATCs from a swap years ago and put them into a photo holder. I am hoping to do a few Thanksgiving crafts in between starting to craft for Christmas. Have a wonderful day!
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Lynn
Hope the putting away of all your decorations goes by quickly. I put mine away yesterday, and I was grumbling the whole time. I always say, "I'm not going to do this again", but then I do! Happy November!
ReplyDeleteCute!! Happy November! Love those cute pilgrim candles! :)

Kim,
ReplyDeleteI it is bittersweet to pack it all away , isn't it? I am glad to see someone has as much tubs for the holidays ( any holiday) that I do.
Went to Target today and picked up a few little things for 50% off and Micheal's had 70% off on their Halloween things.Had to contain myself though.....
I skip Thanksgiving as far as decorating because i do so much for Christmas. I like to have the entire house decorated for Christmas by Thanksgiving Day weekend. And I like to light the outside lights on thanksgiving Day night to start the Christmas season.
Hugs,
Deb
oh my, I'm glad I don't really decorate for Halloween. If I had to do all that packing away in October, I don't think I'd ever have the energy to do it again after Christmas- that's a full time job!!
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to your book on Friday!
Since there is no Thanksgiving decoration I like more than pilgrim candles, I am in love with your new banner!
ReplyDeleteAlthough I didn't put out many Halloween decorations I still haven't put them all away...can't imagine how long it takes You.
ReplyDeleteLove you new header with the adorable candles ~ so cute!
